Full knowledge on how to calculate DRG

The IR-DRG course is a guide to understand the classification and dimensions of related groups, principles, components, assignment logic and calculation of the DRGs. It also explores how DRGs impact a patient’s quality of care in standardizing medical data and accurately capturing the patient’s severity of illness, risk of mortality, resource weight, average length of stays, optimal maximal reimbursement and will know the severity drivers using case studies. The course also looks at how clinical documentation improvement will impact DRGs and the case mix index (CMI) for the hospital.
